Tonight there is limited NBA and NHL action, so we will focus primarily on College Basketball:
I’ve only picked out two games for tonight, but I am extremely confident in these picks:
Kentucky (10-1) vs. Louisville (10-1) 7PM ESPN
Current Lines: UK (-2.5), O/U 158
Tonight’s battle for the Bluegrass State is poised to be one of the best matchups of the season to date. Louisville has coasted thus far, playing a relatively easy schedule with their only loss coming against No. 4 Baylor. Kentucky coming off an impressive win over North Carolina, has played a tougher schedule, and is (2-1) against ranked opponents.
My Picks: Take UK(-2.5) and Over 158 points
Although Louisville is a strong defensive team, I believe that UK has too much firepower to be stopped. Expect another strong performance from Malik Monk, and overall, a high scoring affair at the KFC Yum Center tonight. I see UK winning by at least 8 points.
Virginia (9-1) vs Cal (9-2) 10PM ESPN2
Current Lines: UVA (-3) , O/U 119
The No. 12 Ranked Cavaliers travel out to Berkley to take on unranked Cal tonight. Tony Bennet’s UVA squad does not appear to be as strong this year on defense, but they have only endured one setback against now No. 11 Ranked West Virginia. Cal on the other hand, has yet to play a ranked opponent.
My Picks: Take UVA(-3) and Over 119
This is essentially a giveaway. Expect UVA to roll to a double-digit win over a mediocre Cal team. UVA deserves more respect than that.
